Entertainment News: Sky TV has become the headline partner for Isle of Wight Festival and will bring fans coverage across THREE channels and new on-demand content. It’s the first time Sky has ever sponsored a festival.
Viewers will know that Sky Arts has long been a broadcast partner of the festival, delivering special highlights shows to viewers. But this year, coverage will be supersized with performances airing on multiple Sky TV channels and Sky’s YouTube platform.
It means fans will be treated to hours of behind the scenes coverage as well as live sets from the artists.
Joel Keoghan, Director Partnerships & Promotions, Sky, says: "Music is one of the most powerful ways to connect with audiences, and our multi-year headline sponsorship with the Isle of Wight Festival reflects our commitment to strategic, audience-led partnerships. This collaboration allows us to show up and connect in key cultural and social spaces in a more expressive and authentic way. We’re excited to build on our fantastic relationship with the festival and create more unforgettable experiences for music lovers, both at the festival and through our platforms.”
Caroline Giddings, Festival Director, Isle of Wight Festival, says We’re thrilled to have Sky on board as our headline partner. The brand has had a presence at the festival for more than a decade thanks to our Sky Arts broadcast partnership and we're excited to develop that relationship and further enhance the Isle of Wight Festival experience for our customers.
